Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when Mask Databases ("we") may refund fees paid for Mask Databases ("Service"). It supplements our Terms of Service.
1. Eligibility
If you purchase a paid subscription through our Paddle-powered checkout, you may request a full or partial refund within 14 calendar days of the initial charge for that subscription period, provided you have not materially abused the Service (for example violation of acceptable use, chargeback fraud, or account sharing contrary to the Terms).
For renewal charges, you may request a refund within 7 calendar days of the renewal date if you did not intend to renew and can show you cancelled before the renewal date using the self-service cancellation in your account settings.
2. Non-refundable cases
- Fees for periods that ended more than the applicable window above, except where required by law.
- Charges disputed through your bank or card issuer (chargeback) without first contacting us — we may contest invalid chargebacks.
- Accounts terminated for breach of the Terms or illegal activity.
- Third-party fees (for example currency conversion or cash advance fees charged by your bank).
- Usage-based overages or add-ons clearly consumed or delivered before the refund request.
3. How to request a refund
Email contact@maskdatabases.com from the email address on your account. Include your account email, approximate payment date, amount and currency, and (if available) the bank reference, invoice number, or receipt you used when paying.
We aim to respond within 5 business days and to process approved refunds within 14 business days.
4. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Paddle where technically possible. If that is not possible (for example card expired or no longer valid), we will work with you on a reasonable alternative subject to verification.
5. Cancellation and pro-rata
If you cancel your subscription mid-cycle, you retain access for the remainder of the current billing period. We do not automatically issue pro-rata refunds for unused time unless required by applicable law.
6. Pakistan and international customers
Nothing in this Policy limits statutory consumer rights under the laws of Pakistan or your country of residence. If local law requires a longer cooling-off period or mandatory refund, that law will apply to the extent required.
7. Dispute resolution
We encourage you to contact us first at contact@maskdatabases.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Resolving disputes directly is faster and helps us serve you better.
